OTTAWA, June 16, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, will participate in activities to celebrate Sarcoma Cancer Awareness Week in Canada. The Minister will meet with researchers, clinicians, and sarcoma cancer survivors. The Minister will be joined by Diana Arajs, Founder and Chair of the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada, Dr. Duncan Stewart, CEO and Scientific Director of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and Dr. Jane Aubin, Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice-President, Research and Knowledge Translation, Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
Media will be invited to join the Minister for a lab tour following the announcement.
