OTTAWA, June 20, 2016 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, and her guests for a special event to mark National Aboriginal Day.
The day will begin with a traditional sunrise ceremony performed by a First Nation Elder. Members of the media are invited to participate but no recording, filming or pictures are allowed during the spiritual ceremony.
The sunrise ceremony will be followed by traditional Inuit and Métis entertainment.
