Media Advisory - Minister Blaney and Korean War Veterans to Participate in Commemorative Events Marking the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Français
VANCOUVER, April 19, 2013 /CNW/ - On Sunday, April 21, 2013, Canadian Veterans will return to former battlefields to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister for La Francophonie, will accompany 36 Canadian Veterans of the Korean War as they participate in the Revisit Korea Program organized by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea (MPVA).
The Minister and Veterans will depart Vancouver for the Republic of Korea on Sunday, April 21.
