QUÉBEC CITY, March 14, 2013 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister for La Francophonie, will take part in a re-enactment of the 104th (New-Brunswick) Regiment of Foot's historic march which took place in the winter of 1813.
The Minister will be accompanied by troops from the Régiment de la Chaudière and the Voltigeurs de Québec and by historical re-enactors for the march, which will begin at 9 a.m. at the Musée national des beaux-arts. The march will go across Battlefields Park to the front of the Armoury, where Minister Blaney will join members of the organizing committee for a media briefing.
