OTTAWA, May 28, 2017 /CNW/ - To mark Tourism Week, the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister of Small Business and Tourism, will make an announcement about Government of Canada support for LGBTQ2 tourism. She will be joined by Member of Parliament Randy Boissonnault, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on LGBTQ2 Issues, Colin Sines, Executive Director of Travel Gay Canada, and Claudia Van Wijk, Co-owner of OWL Rafting on the Ottawa River.
Following the announcement, OWL Rafting will hold a Sport Yak demonstration.

Location: Lookout in front of the Ottawa River Runners Pumphouse facility
Directions: Travel north on Bronson Avenue. Turn left (west) on Albert and take an immediate right on Commissioner Street. Once on Commissioner, stay left. The lookout to the Pumphouse facility is on the left (near the sign for 1 Fleet Street).
Parking: Behind Library and Archives Canada. There is also street parking on Wellington (access from Albert St).
