Media Advisory - Minister Chiarelli and Mayor Watson to Launch New Safe Winter Driving Campaign
OTTAWA, Nov. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Bob Chiarelli, Ontario Minister of Transportation and Minister of Infrastructure with Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, will launch a province-wide safe winter driving campaign focused on snow plows tomorrow.
The Ontario Road Builders' Association's Let Us Lead The Way campaign, is supported by snow plow operators, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. The goal of the campaign is to improve road safety by raising awareness about the dangers of drivers passing snow plows.
