QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 28, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change, David Heurtel, will participate in the Federal, provincial and territorial Environment Ministers Meeting taking place on January 28 and 29 in Ottawa.
The purpose of the meeting is to begin preparations for the Conference of Canadian First Ministers which is to be held in Vancouver on March 3 and which stems from the commitment made by the Prime Minister of Canada to call a meeting of his provincial and territorial counterparts within 90 days following the Paris Climate Conference to establish a Canada-wide framework for fighting climate change.
