OTTAWA, July 5, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will be in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba from July 9 to July 20 to promote Canada's Asia-Pacific Gateway and the Harper government's active and ongoing engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to highlighting how Canada's trade and investment ties in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific region are being facilitated through the Harper government's strategic investments and partnerships in building the Asia-Pacific Gateway, Minister Fast will also meet with his provincial and municipal counterparts, stakeholders and key transportation and industry leaders to discuss ways to build on Canada's competitive advantages and further deepen trade and investment ties throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
