Media Advisory - Minister Garneau to travel to Washington, D.C. on March 1 and 2 to meet with his United States counterpart Secretary Chao and members of the United States Congress and Senate Français
OTTAWA, Feb. 28, 2017 /CNW/ - On March 1, the Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport, will meet with United States Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao. On March 2, Minister Garneau will hold bilateral meetings with members of both House and Senate committees. He will also participate in the 2017 Aviation Summit, during which he will join NASA Acting Administrator Robert M. Lightfoot Jr. to chat live with the International Space Station crew at 11:00 a.m.
Following his meetings, Minister Garneau will host a media availability to share highlights from his visit.
