OTTAWA, March 5, 2018 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, as he hosts a one-day National Summit on Gun and Gang Violence.
This summit will bring together partners from government, law enforcement, academia, community organizations and mayors from some of Canada's largest urban centres to tackle gun and gang violence.
The Minister will host a media availability in the morning and media are invited to his closing remarks. The rest of the summit will be closed to media. Sessions will be live-streamed at: http://video.isilive.ca/pssp/2018-03-07/english.html. Media present on-site will be able to view the stream live in the Media Room.
