Media Advisory - Minister Hajdu and Métis Nation Leaders to Sign Métis Nation Skills and Employment Training Accord
OTTAWA, June 14, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, and Métis Nation leaders will sign a Métis Nation Skills and Employment Accord on June 15, 2018. Comprising a total of $625,369,476 over 10 years, the Accord marks the first agreement under the Canada-Métis Nation Accord signed by the Prime Minister and Métis Nation leadership in 2017.
Please be advised that the Métis Nation leadership and the Honourable Patty Hajdu will hold a brief media availability following this important Accord signing.
