Media Advisory - Minister Hehr to announce major investment in leading-edge genomics and precision health research in Alberta Français
CALGARY, Jan. 22, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will announce investments being made through two of Genome Canada's premier funding programs. The investments will help some of Alberta's leading scientists advance genomics and precision health research that lead to new medical therapies to improve the health and wellbeing of Canadians.
