The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will meet with entertainment and culture leaders at C2 Montréal to discuss the future of the entertainment sector in Canada
MONTRÉAL, May 23, 2018 /CNW/ - In order to highlight the Government's vision for Canada's cultural and creative industries, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will attend the international business conference C2 Montréal, set to take place from May 23 to May 25, 2018. This year's theme of Transformative Collisions sets the stage for engaging meetings and stimulating exchanges to foster creativity. For Minister Joly, this is a continuation of the type of collaboration that has led to a Creative Canada while the world of creativity meets the world of commerce and artists.
Minister Joly will be taking part in a conference that explores the role of technology in entertainment and culture, the future of production and distribution of content in Canada, and the role of the government plays in the proliferation of Canadian content worldwide. She will also co-chair a round table on collaboration between creative industries in China and Montréal.
