Media Advisory - Minister Joly to Take Part in Canada 150 Skating Day Ceremony on Parliament Hill Français
The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will participate in the Canada 150 Skating Day ceremony on Sunday December 10 on Parliament Hill.
OTTAWA, Dec. 8, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will participate in the Canada 150 Skating Day ceremony on Sunday in Ottawa.
Minister Joly will be joined by Indigenous figure skater Amber Brennan, as well as skaters from the Minto Skating Club, the Special Olympics Skating Club and the Asticou Skating Club.
Media representatives will need Parliamentary Press Gallery accreditation to access the designated media area. Media representatives are to enter the rink through gate 7.
All media representatives who are not members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery must apply for temporary accreditation in advance. Those interested should contact Marc Fortier, Acting Manager of Multi-Media Events, by email at [email protected] no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
