Media Advisory - Minister Joly to Visit the Magdalen Islands, a First for a Minister of Canadian Heritage Français
The Minister of Canadian Heritage will meet with representatives from the region's cultural and business sectors, as well as from the English-speaking community.
GATINEAU, QC, July 14, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will visit the Magdalen Islands to meet with residents and various stakeholders from the area's arts, culture, and business sectors and English-speaking communities.
This is the first time that a Minister of Canadian Heritage will visit the region in an official capacity.
