Media Advisory - Minister Joly Travels to Los Angeles to Strengthen Economic Ties between Canada and the United States Français
GATINEAU, QC, April 18, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will be travelling to Los Angeles, California, to further highlight the economic and strategic relationship between Canada and the United States. The United States has no closer friend, ally or partner than Canada. We enjoy the longest, most peaceful and mutually beneficial relationship of any two countries on the planet.
During her trip, Minister Joly will meet with United States government representatives to emphasize the importance of this economic relationship, especially in relation to creative industries. She will also be meeting with several Canadian creators working in Los Angeles, and attend roundtables with executives in the creative sector to promote Canada as a key player in the entertainment industry.
