Media advisory - Minister Lebouthillier announces improvements to tax filing services for Canadians

OTTAWA, Jan. 5, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On Monday, January 8, 2018, the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of National Revenue, will announce improvements to the services available to people filing paper tax returns and those with low or fixed incomes.

Ahead of the Minister's announcement, senior officials from the Canada Revenue Agency will hold a not-for-attribution technical briefing on the service improvements.

The briefing will be held by phone. Accredited media representatives who wish to participate are required to register in advance by sending an email to [email protected]. Documents will be shared with registered media once the briefing begins.
