OTTAWA, July 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Agriculture and Agri-Food Minister, Lawrence MacAulay, will be in Alberta as part of the Growing Canadian Agriculture Tour to meet with farmers and agri-businesses and hear their ideas on how to capture growth opportunities for the sector. He will be in Calgary to participate in the Calgary Stampede's pancake breakfast and to announce an investment in the Canadian beef industry. Minister MacAulay will also be attending the Stampede's International Agriculture Reception and touring some of the Stampede's barns, as well as meeting with representatives from the Canadian Cattlemen Association, the Canada Malting Company, and a delegation from the United Arab Emirates.
