Media Advisory - Minister McKenna to hold a media availability to report on climate action meetings with strategic partners Français
BRUSSELS, June 20, 2018 /CNW/ - Canada's Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will hold a media availability by teleconference, on June 21, 2018. The Minister will discuss her visit to London, Berlin, and Brussels, where she met with strategic partners during bilateral meetings in London, the Petersberg Climate Dialogue IX, a China Council meeting, and the second Ministerial Meeting on Climate Action.
Minister McKenna will also participate in an armchair discussion as part of the Women Rule Summit—hosted by POLITICO, in Brussels—at 8:35 a.m. (CEST) on that day. The event will be live streamed on POLITICO's website and Facebook page.
During the teleconference, Minister McKenna will highlight Canada's climate action to help advance the Paris Agreement and recent progress made on reducing plastic pollution.
