OTTAWA, Dec. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - On New Year's Eve, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will launch Parks Canada's year-long celebration of Canada's 150th birthday. She will welcome visitors for some family-friendly Parks Canada's activities at Ottawa City Hall during the Ottawa 2017 New Year's Eve celebration that will include the lighting of a spectacular cauldron and the Fire of Friendship Torch Relay.
