TORONTO, June 2, 2017 /CNW/ - Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, and the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme, Erik Solheim, will be visiting Jack Johnson's Village Green to launch World Environment Day activities. Canada is excited to be hosting World Environment Day this year, a UN Environment-led global event which takes place annually on June 5 and is celebrated by thousands of communities worldwide.
