Media Advisory - Minister McKenna to meet with US counterparts to strengthen collaboration on environmental protection and climate change Français
OTTAWA, March 14, 2017 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will participate in important bi-lateral meetings with her United States counterparts to strengthen Canada-US collaboration on clean air and clean water, protection of the Great Lakes and climate change.
The following two events are open to media:
Minister McKenna will speak about Canada's efforts to reduce carbon emissions with Sarah Ladislaw, Director and Senior Fellow of the Energy and National Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). This inaugural session is the first in a CSIS series designed to highlight government and industry efforts to reduce dependence on carbon.
