NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Nov. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will make an announcement related to the development of Canada's new federal tourism strategy. Her cross-Canada tour kicks off in Niagara Falls, where she will be speaking with local tourism and travel industry experts.
Her visit to Niagara Falls will be followed up by stops in Winnipeg and Churchill, Manitoba; Rankin Inlet, Nunavut; and Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, British Columbia, where she will participate in roundtable discussions on identifying opportunities to maximize Canada's tourism potential and create local, sustainable middle-class jobs.
