EVENT BACKGROUND:
The Trans Canada Trail (TCT) will celebrate the Yukon's TCT connection milestone with the many partners, donors and volunteers who contributed to the realization of this goal across the territory. Yukon becomes Canada's third province or territory, after Newfoundland & Labrador and Prince Edward Island, to reach this Trail connection milestone. This historic achievement brings the TCT one step closer to its goal of connecting the main route of the TCT and Canadians in time for Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation in 2017.
