Media Advisory - Minister of Science to Celebrate Canada's Top Social Sciences and Humanities Researchers at Rideau Hall Français
OTTAWA, Oct. 1, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will attend the 2018 Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Impact Awards ceremony at Rideau Hall to honour Canada's top researchers. Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will preside over the official ceremony.
The annual SSHRC Impact Awards recognize the highest achievements in social sciences and humanities research. The ceremony will also showcase winners of SSHRC's 2018 Storytellers contest, a national challenge to find innovative ways to communicate the impact of social sciences and humanities research.
