Media Advisory - Minister of State Uppal to welcome 13 new citizens at Rogers Arena - Home of the Vancouver Canucks

OTTAWA, Oct. 17, 2014 /CNW/ - To celebrate Canada's Citizenship Week 2014, Minister of State Tim Uppal, on behalf of Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander, and the Vancouver Canucks, will welcome 13 new citizens at a special citizenship ceremony at Rogers Arena.

Canada's Citizenship Week (October 13-19) is a celebration of Canadian history, traditions, culture, values and pride. It provides Canadians with an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Canadian, including our rights and responsibilities.
