Media Advisory - Minister of State Uppal to welcome new citizens at Rexall Place - Home of the Edmonton Oilers

EDMONTON, Oct. 16, 2014 /CNW/ - To celebrate Canada's Citizenship Week 2014, Minister of State Tim Uppal, on behalf of Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander, and the Edmonton Oilers will welcome 12 new citizens at Rexall Place.  

Canada's Citizenship Week (October 13-19) is a celebration of Canadian history, traditions, culture, values and pride. It provides Canadians with an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Canadian, including our rights and responsibilities.
