Media Advisory - Minister of Transport to Tour Marine Atlantic's new terminal site in North Sydney

NORTH SYDNEY, NS, Jan. 17, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport and Cecil Clarke, Mayor of Cape Breton Regional Municipality, will join Rob Crosbie, Marine Atlantic's Chair of the Board of Directors, and President and CEO Paul Griffin on a tour of the site of the new terminal building being constructed in North Sydney. A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the tour.

Media representatives are asked to register with security before proceeding to the terminal building.

Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses and steel toed boots are required to visit the site. Marine Atlantic will make PPE available to those without access to these items; however, steel-toed boots are the responsibility of the individual media representatives.
