TORONTO, June 24, 2015 /CNW/ - The Honourable Joe Oliver, Minister of Finance, will make an announcement, on behalf of the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, regarding a new program that will support world-class health research projects involving scientists from Canada, Israel and developing countries. Minister Oliver will be joined by His Excellency Rafael Barak, Israel's Ambassador to Canada, Dr. Alain Beaudet, President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Dr. Jean Lebel, President of Canada's International Development Research Centre, and Dr. Naomi Azrieli, Chair and CEO of the Azrieli Foundation.
