Media Advisory - Minister Steve Blaney and the Lévis Commandeurs to Celebrate Canada's Veterans Français
LÉVIS, QC, Nov. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will join the Lévis Commandeurs to pay tribute to Canada's Veterans with a ceremonial puck drop during their hockey game against Les Estacades de Trois-Rivières. The Minister will be joined by Veterans and a youth representative from Quebec.

This year, 34 ceremonial puck drops will be held across Quebec in the lead-up to Remembrance Day. The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the North American Hockey League and the Midget 3A League will invite the public to honour those who sacrificed so much to make our world a safer place.
