Media advisory - Minister Valcourt to lead a Canadian delegation at the International Conference on Ocean Energy in Ireland Français
MONCTON, NB, Oct. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Associate Minister of National Defence and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) (La Francophonie), will lead a Canadian delegation to the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE) in Dublin, Ireland on October 15-17, 2012.
The ICOE is an international conference and trade show focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy. Over 750 international experts and world-leading companies in ocean energy will gather for this event.
Minister Valcourt and three Canadian organizations and businesses participating in the conference (Acadia University, Clean Current Power Systems Inc., and Fundy Tidal Inc.) will hold a news conference in Dublin to outline the objectives and expected benefits of Canada's participation in the conference.
