Media Advisory - Ministers Alexander and Mackay reinforce the value of Canadian Citizenship at Pier 21 Français
HALIFAX, Feb. 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander, and Peter MacKay, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, will be available to media in Halifax regarding the Strengthening Canadian Citizenship Act.
Media is also invited to join the Ministers as they tour the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 including a Black History Month exhibit, and then visit Maritime Forces Atlantic for a brief tour*.
*Please note the tour at the naval base is a photo-op only. Still and video cameras will be permitted. Photographers/videographers wishing to enter the base for this event must RSVP with CIC Media Relations in advance (by C.O.B. February 20) and provide the name of each individual wishing to enter, as well as the vehicle make, model and licence plate.
