Media Advisory - MLA Mike Farnworth Recognized by Paramedics for Life-Saving CPR
PORT COQUITLAM, BC, July 6, 2012 /CNW/ - The Ambulance Paramedics of British Columbia (APBC) are excited to invite members of the media to join them in recognizing MLA Mike Farnworth's efforts to resuscitate Michael Morokhovich after he suffered a cardiac arrest during a hike. Mr. Farnworth helped attend to Mr. Morokhovich and assisted in providing CPR by keeping the airway maintained before the paramedics arrived onsite.
APBC President, Bronwyn Barter and the paramedic teams that responded will be joined by Mr. Morokhovich and his family members to acknowledge Mr. Farnworth's role in saving his life. MLA Farnworth will be presented with an official Ambulance Paramedics of BC jacket at the event.
The Ambulance Paramedics team and the President of APBC will be happy to speak about the importance of learning CPR and how it can save lives. MLA Farnworth and Mr. Morokhovich will also be available to share their experience.
