MLSE Foundation will surprise local non-profit Believe To Achieve Organization (BTA) on Wednesday when the organization is awarded the first $50,000 MLSE Foundation Community Action Grant. MLSE Foundation Director of Operations, Tanya Mruck will be joined by former professional boxer and founder of Believe To Achieve, Chuck "Spider" Jones and Executive Director of Believe To Achieve, Scott Sutherland for the announcement. |

The Spider's Web program provides tangible support and mentoring services to youth in need through physical activity, parental and community involvement, leisure and educational awareness, mentorship opportunities and nutrition. Programming out of Spider's Web Children and Youth Empowerment Centre, a boxing and fitness facility, participants learn no contact boxing and other activities aimed at helping them gain knowledge of healthy exercise habits. |

The MLSE Foundation Community Action Grant is a $50,000 multisport prize that MLSE Foundation will award to a non-profit organization supporting youth sports programming in Toronto each year. |
