Media Advisory - MLSE Foundation to host hard hat tour of MLSE LaunchPad this Thursday

As Toronto gears up to celebrate the first NBA All-Star Game outside of the United States, MLSE Foundation will host an exclusive hard hat tour of MLSE LaunchPad. The event will recognize and celebrate the support of key parties that have helped fund this initiative and bring the project to life. All of the organizations and individuals involved will be invited to attend the tour alongside several notable guests. |

In partnership with Toronto Community Housing and the City of Toronto, MLSE Foundation will transform 261 Jarvis St. into MLSE LaunchPad, a 42,000 square foot youth-focused Sport For Development facility set to open in 2017. With the support of professional sports team, the new facility will feature multi-purpose sport courts, classrooms and a teaching kitchen. Programming will focus on four pillars with sports at the core: healthy body, healthy mind, ready for school and ready for work. |
