OTTAWA, Feb. 13, 2015 /CNW/ - Seniors in eastern Ontario are entering long term care (LTC) with increasingly complex health care needs, and more staff is urgently needed in the area's LTC homes to ensure that seniors receive the quality and level of care they need -- and deserve.
Donna Rubin, OANHSS CEO, and Lawrence Grant, The Glebe Centre's Executive Director, will be in Ottawa to meet with local administrators to discuss understaffing in provincial long term care homes.
