TORONTO, July 9, 2013 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, July 10, 2013, The Motion Picture Association-Canada and the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) will release a new first-of-its-kind study on The Economic Contribution of the Film and Television Industry in Canada. This comprehensive study captures the full economic impacts of the industry's value chain in Canada. The report also investigates spillover economic benefits captured by the construction and film-related tourism sectors.
The new national study will be launched at an Open House celebrating the film and television industry in Canada at work, hosted by Comweb Corp./William F. White Int'l Chairman and CEO Paul Bronfman.
