Media Advisory - MP Kate Young to Meet with Next Generation of Planetary Space Explorers at Western University Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 1, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - From now to November 18, 2016, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is leading CanMars 2016, a Mars sample return simulation mission set in the Utah desert, one of the most realistic "planetary exploration" settings accessible on Earth.
From the science operations centre at Western University, a science team comprising students and researchers from five Canadian universities, as well as international partner space agencies and universities, will be working with the CSA to successfully complete the mission.
On November 2, the CSA and Western University will host a media technical briefing on the mission.
Following the briefing, Kate Young, Member of Parliament for London West, will tour the university's operations centre and meet with students taking part in the mission.
Media representatives are invited to attend.
