When: Thursday, May 10, 2018
Time:

About the contest:
The participants have five days to take their photographs and return their cameras for processing. A jury including professional photographers, artists and people with lived experience of homelessness will select 40 photographs for a public exhibition in the fall and 13 photographs for the 2019 MYTORONTO Calendar. The winning photographers will receive cash prizes.
Participants may also participate in workshops to learn sales techniques and presentation skills enabling them to become licensed calendar vendors. Sales provide income to vendors and support the project.
MYTORONTO, which began in 2017, enables people affected by homelessness and poverty to share their narrative and challenges the public's perspectives on systemic issues of poverty and homelessness in our city.
The public can pre-order the MYTORONTO 2019 Calendar at mytorontocalendar.com/store/.
