OTTAWA, May 4, 2012 /CNW/ - The largest group of health-care professionals is in the spotlight next week. May 7-13, 2012, is National Nursing Week, coinciding with International Nurses Day and Florence Nightingale's birthday, both on Saturday, May 12.
The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) hopes that nurses, other health-care professionals and Canadians alike will reflect on the contribution nurses make every day to the health of our nation. Provincial and territorial nursing colleges or associations and many individual employers are marking the week with events. For a full list of CNA's provincial or territorial members and their contact information, please see Provincial and Territorial Members on CNA's website.
