Media Advisory - National Research Council facility in St. John's to host grade six students for Science Odyssey event Français
ST. JOHN'S, May 9, 2018 /CNW/ - Grade six students from St. Matthew's elementary school will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on ocean technology learning activities at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).
Experts, including Dr. David Murrin, Director General for the Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering Research Centre, will outline future careers in science, technology, engineering and math, especially in the fields of engineering and ocean science.
Media outlets will have an opportunity to speak with experts, take photos and participate in a tour of the NRC facility, including the ice tank and one of the most advanced indoor model ocean facilities in the world.
