Media advisory - National Working Summit on Aboriginal PSE
OHSWEKEN, ON, Oct 5 /CNW/ - Representatives from various Aboriginal groups, universities, colleges, the not-for-profit sector and the private sector are attending a National Working Summit on Aboriginal Postsecondary Education today to discuss how to improve access and success of Aboriginal Canadians in higher education.
A collaboration between the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, the summit is being held at Six Nations Polytechnic outside Brantford, Ontario.
The working summit is closed to the public and to media. A media release outlining the outcomes of the day will be released by 5 p.m. today.
As co-chairs of the Summit, Roberta Jamieson, president and CEO of NAAF, and Paul Davidson, president of AUCC, will be available for interviews, as will various other participants.
