OTTAWA, Feb. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - As part of Winterlude's 37th edition in the nation's capital, Natural Resources Canada will host the 5th annual Cool Science event. During this special science fair, youth will experience the exciting world of science through the work and discoveries of various government organizations, partners and various labs. With the help and guidance of scientists and researchers, visitors will have the chance to explore the replica of an Arctic base camp, bring rocks and fossils from home for identification and learn about the importance of minerals. They will also see and learn about exotic insects, find out how to grow their own fruits and vegetables, and much more.
This open-house event offers a chance for visitors to see the significant contribution science and technology make in their everyday lives.
