VICTORIA, June 1, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Media are invited to attend Children's Variety of British Columbia's annual Boat for Hope event, along with Naval Reservists from both Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Malahat, from Victoria, and HMCS Discovery, from Vancouver.
When: Saturday, June 2, 2012, 10 a.m. to approx. 3 p.m. |

The sailors will be engaging children with special needs and their families during this successful fund raising event. HMCS Malahat ship company is proud to support the event for the ninth year and will be joined by HMCS Discovery for the first time, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for children and their families.
Nota to editors:
Media will have the opportunity to embark in a Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHIB).
There will also be a photo opportunity as Patrol Craft Training (PCT) Grizzly will be coming alongside Ship Point at approx. 9:30 a.m.
