What: | The 2012 cancer statistics report, Canadian Cancer Statistics, will be released by the Canadian Cancer Society. |
The Canadian Cancer Society, in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada, Statistics Canada, provincial and territorial cancer registries, as well as researchers based in universities and provincial/territorial cancer agencies, produces Canadian Cancer Statistics once a year. | |
When: | Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The embargo will be lifted at 5:01 a.m. MDT. |
Who: | Local spokespeople and other experts in Alberta will be available for interviews, as requested. |
A news release will be issued via CNW on Wednesday, May 9. The release - along with an electronic media kit - will be posted on the Canadian Cancer Society's website at cancer.ca. |
