Media Advisory - News Conference - International Police Investigation of Illegal Drug and Firearms Importation and Distribution Français
ORILLIA, ON, Oct. 7, 2015 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau tomorrow as they outline the results of a lengthy multi-jurisdictional investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Chief Superintendent Rick BARNUM and representatives from Toronto Police Service, Peel Regional Police, York Regional Police, RCMP, Canada Border Services Agency, and the United States Department of Homeland Security will provide details of a probe involving the importation and distribution of illegal drugs and prohibited firearms into Canada from Central America, South America and the United States.
One-on-one interviews will be available following the formal media conference. For members of the media unable to attend in person, requests for phone interviews with the primary spokespersons can be arranged in advance via the media contact below.
