Media Advisory - Nine seniors awarded for outstanding contributions
MONTREAL, Sept. 30, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On Tuesday October 1, National Seniors Day, Seniors Action Quebec invites you to a celebration of English-speaking seniors and their contribution to English-speaking Quebec. The celebration is part of the Rediscovering & Reconnecting with Our Past and Celebrating Our Seniors' Contributions project by Seniors Action Quebec in partnership with Concordia University's Mobile Media Lab. Clifford Lincoln will close the event with a keynote address on the importance of volunteering. A light lunch will be served at noon.

Rediscovering & Reconnecting with Our Past and Celebrating Our Seniors' Contributions applauds and promotes social participation by gathering stories on seniors their own contributions to the vitality of their communities over the past 50 years. The project aims to inspire seniors to become involved and make a difference.
