Toronto city councillor and police inspector take action against the most common cancer in Canadian women
TORONTO, Oct.15, 2015 /CNW/ - Two of Toronto's civic Titans of Twitter, Toronto city councillor Norm Kelly and Toronto Police Service inspector Chris Boddy, will paint their nails pink today in support of the Canadian Cancer Society's ManiCURES campaign.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian women. This year, an estimated 25,000 women will be diagnosed with the disease. Money raised through ManiCURES funds breast cancer research, advocacy, education about breast screening and support services for patients and their families.
