Media Advisory - Obsolete pesticide and livestock/equine medications collection coming to Newfoundland
ST. JOHN'S, Oct. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Farmers in Newfoundland are invited to turn in their obsolete or unwanted agricultural pesticides and livestock/equine medications on the dates and at the locations specified below for safe disposal.
Collection sites will be open on the days specified from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Photographers and reporters are welcome to coordinate with Maja Begovic to visit the drop off locations:
Tuesday, October 18, 2016: Foxtrap
- Department of Transportation and Works Depot, 0.5 km N of Trans-Canada/Foxtrap Access Road on Incinerator Road
Wednesday, October 19, 2016: Lewisporte
- Department of Transportation and Works Depot, 6 km N of Trans-Canada/Route 340 intersection on Route 340
Thursday, October 20, 2016: Deer Lake
- Department of Transportation and Works Depot, 74 Old Bonne Bay Road
