Media Advisory - Official Opening - Phase 2 of Port Union Waterfront Park
TORONTO, June 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Waterfront Toronto and its government partners will officially open the second and final phase of Port Union Waterfront Park at the community's annual Port Union Waterfront Festival. A unique and accessible urban escape, Port Union Waterfront Park provides nearly four kilometres of beautiful shoreline recreational space in a part of Toronto's eastern waterfront that historically lacked public access.

By car: | From the west - Take Hwy 401 east and take exit 390 toward Port Union Rd/Hwy 2-A. Turn left onto Kingston Rd. Take the first right onto Port Union Rd and go south approximately 2.5 km. |
From the east - Take Hwy 401 west and take exit 392 toward Port Union Rd/Sheppard Avenue. Turn left onto Kingston Rd. Turn left onto Port Union Rd and go south approximately 2.5 km. | |
By transit: | Take GO Transit to Rouge Hill Station and walk approximately 300 metres west to the event site. |
